Bilbao

With international driver's license in hand, we picked up the car from Bilbao International Airport. There's two things that keep me on my toes: 1) driving on the other side of the road, and 2) this car is huge. After changing how you view round-abouts and incoming left hand turns, it's fairly straight forward. The car though, is big, great for luggage, not so great for small car parks. We have a small car park. 

In any case, back in Basque country! Looking forward to Pintxos and some exploration.

Greece: Santorini

A short flight to Santorini for three days to break up the stay in Athens. We arrived early and were super lucky to be able to check into our villa at 10 pm instead of having to wait until the afternoon. Day 1, we walked along the Caldera to Thera, it was hot and busy, but we really got stuck into the seafood. Day 2, we ended up doing a cruise around the Islands, followed by dinner in Oia. Final day, I headed back to Oia for sunrise. Unfortunately we were not granted the same luxury on check out, lucky we had only back packs and walked around Thera until we caught the bus back to the Airport.
