The excitement of the long weekend has finally crept back into the year. The June Monday public holiday was flagged and with Albert spending time in Ho Chi Minh City it was an excuse to head over and take some time off. The afterwork Vietjet is becoming quite the routine, 7:50 pm scheduled to arrive into HCMC at 9:30. It's always delayed and yet I always feel so rushed to leave the office on time. Short trip, surprisingly not too many photos, but I remember the trip quite clearly.

Cleared airport around 11:30 dropped my backpack off at the hotel and headed out for Pho Gia before retiring early. The following day, explored town, Bay Ho Banh Mi, some Coconut iced coffee, into some Seafood Noodles, Bun Nuoc Leo, then into some Tomato rice chicken and dinner and drinks. The following day was some Bun Bo Hue and a failed attempt at Com Tam (we'll be back for another attempt).

Explored the streets - street food for dinner

Packed for Jeju

Tuesday:

Up early for walk/run in Nam Sam park

Submitted Namsam and saw the tower

Back to hotel for a quick shower

Checked out and dashed to Sofitel to drop off luggage

Taxi to Gimpo airport 

Airport meal
